Bette Midler slams Lori Loughlin

On Twitter, singer Bette Midler shared a post in response to Lori and Mossimo's not guilty plea.

In the post, Bette said that Lori must be panicking because the "judge might put her away for...oh, I don’t know...hours!"

According to reports, Lori and Mossimo have been accused of paying a college admission consultant hundreds of thousands of dollars to get daughters Olivia and Bella into USC as crew recruits despite the girls not having been involved in the sports before.

Felicity Huffman's sentencing

Bette's joke appeared to be in reference to actress Felicity Huffman who only served 11 of her 14-day prison sentence.

Felicity pled guilty to having her daughter's test scores altered to gain admission into college so Bette's words were based on what she must have seen as a laughable prison sentence.

There have been mixed reactions to how the situation is being conducted and some people, like Bette, have expressed different views which is normal in cases like this.
