"What Y'all Laughing At?": Kanye West Mocked After Mentioning He'll Be Running For President In 2024

Can you imagine Kanye West running for President? Well, he surely considers it and is getting more serious about it by the day. A big chunk of heading the states means managing the criticism of opponents. The rapper does stand a chance as he handles it head-on.

Prior to the 2016 elections, Kanye attended MTV Video Music Awards and made a bombshell revelation. During his acceptance speech, he mentioned having revolutionary ideas and believing in their implementation. The showbiz entrepreneur concluded:

You probably could've guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.

Kanye West for president in 2024: No kidding!

The multi-hyphenate hasn't dropped his political aspiration, only postponed. He attended the 2019 Fast Company Innovation Festival on November 8 where he joined the stage with his brand, Yeezy shoe designer and partner, Steven Smith. Kanye revealed he has plans to improve the employment-rate in America by expanding his business.

He then made the audience gasp in amusement. The rapper actually aims to ultimately become the president of the U.S through his ventures. According to Complex, he shut down the naysayers with ease, saying:

What y'all laughing at? When I run for president in 2024, we would create so many jobs.

Mr. West further emphasized on black empowerment and the freedom of expression, adding:

One in three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also 'cause they can't say nothing, they got no opinion, they're so scared!
