Date November 11, 2019

The legendary Elvis Presley has been gone for over four decades, but his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley is terrified that some details about his life will soon emerge in a film.

Elvis and Priscilla’s romance

Priscilla was only 14 years old when she met Elvis at a party in Germany. He was ten years older than her and already a superstar. They courted for eight years before they got married back in 1967.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Priscilla opened up about her marriage. She said: ‘It is a different world. And I think being here, and you said you had no idea of the magnitude of who Elvis was and all the things he stood for…’

Upcoming film about Elvis

Lisa Marie Presley is scared that an upcoming film about her late father will reveal his love for teen girls.

According to A.J. Benza’s Fame column, the 51-year old believes that the movie directed by Moulin Rouge will dwell on the fact that her parents started dating when her mom, Priscilla was only 14. A source speaking to Fame, said:

With today’s climate, Lisa Marie is concerned Luhrmnan will exploit that relationship, and there’ll be a huge backlash against her dad.

In addition to Lisa’s fear, she and her mother haven’t spoken much, but the late King of Rock and Roll’s ex-wife has a hands-on role on the upcoming film.

It is said that Priscilla has opened her life to the director and doesn’t appear worried of how he will direct the film.

Elvis Presley’s daughter

Lisa Marie is the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley born in 1968. Despite growing up in the spotlight, Lisa as much as possible tries to keep her life private.
