All parents want their children to be healthy and happy. But unfortunately, the reality is sometimes different. Nevertheless, it is important not to give up and show a good example to children. This dad celebrated his son’s recovery from his first round of chemotherapy with an incredible dance.
Kenny Thomas’ son, Kristian, was diagnosed with leukemia and had to spend more than 30 days in the hospital before being cleared to go home for a few days.
It was such a good news for everybody that Kristian’s father decided to celebrate it the original way. By the way, Kenny is a professional dancer, and he definitely feels the music.
On the video, the 34-year-old Kenny Thomas from New Jersey dances, while his one-year-old son Kristian watches from his hospital bed.
During the dance, Kristian was moving along with dad, clapping and watching his dad.
The video on Kenny’s Instagram page has already been viewed by 2,8 million people.
After Kenny’s “Level Up” performance became viral, he got a surprise from Ciara.
As reported by ABC News, Kenny was excited to meet Ciara:
I didn't know what was going on and boom--she [Ciara] walked through the door. She was just so amazing--very, very humble heart and very giving. It was a surreal moment for us.
Ciara helped with the finances as well, she gave $5,000 on behalf of her Why Not You Foundation.
Get better soon, Kristian!
