‘Too Beautiful To Work’ Mother Of Eight Who Lives Off Benefits Is Under Fire For Buying A Horse

Marie Buchan shakes the internet again. Previously, the mom-of-eight evoke the rage of social media after she claimed she is too beautiful to get a job because she was often being hit on by male workers.

Buchan, who lives off work benefits, said that men often offered her to get a drink, or asked if she interested in something else outside of work. She said she wanted to get work experience as she trained to be a mechanic but this career field doesn’t have many women working in it.

Now Marie is the talk of the town again as revealed she made quite an extravagant purchase to help her with her mental struggles.

A cure from depression

Recently, Buchan used her benefits money to get herself a horse, which supposed to help her beat depression. She paid more than $360 for the six-month-old Welsh colt.

From now on the 36-year-old will have to cash out $130 every month to stable and care for the animal.

The mom of eight's agent Barry Tomes commented that she was on medication for depression and getting a pony will be beneficial for her wellbeing.

Purchasing this horse may infuriate some people. But what Marie needs is open space and a change of scene to help her bouts of depression. She needs to be out in the fresh air and open spaces will do her good her good.

People are slamming Marie on social media

Nonetheless, it was reported that after a few weeks Mrs. Buchan was forced to sell her pony. The decision came after having a hysterectomy following an abnormal smear test result. Buchan simply wasn’t able to visit the pony in a stable three times a day. However, she will be looking for a new one when she fully recovers after the operation.
