Many people don't believe in love at first sight, but it does happen. A lot of people have fallen in love on their very first date, but have held back due to some reservations.
It is good to nurture the feelings and emotions and get to know each other but love comes differently for everyone.

And if you are a risk-taker and believe in spontaneity the story of this biracial couple may just get you inspired.
Shakeela and Jeremy, a biracial couple, fell in love with each other from the very first moment they met knew they were made for each other.
As crazy as it may sound, the two met on a dating app. And after just 20 minutes of texting back and forth and 30 minutes of talking on the phone, Jeremy, 24, asked Shakeela, 18, to be his girlfriend.
From the first week, both professed their love to each other. Jeremy said it was as if God had placed her in front of him.
He saw a future with Shakeela, who was only a high school graduate at that time and promised to take care of her.
Shakeela, on the other hand, believed he was a good person. She trusted her guts even though she did not fully know him then.
Jeremy, who got a Security job at Mississippi, asked her to move over in with him to better their relationship.
Shakeela took the chance and packed up her things to move in with him.
It was challenging at first for the couple because both families were skeptical about the whole idea. However, they preserved because of how much they wanted to be with each other.
Right now, after seven years together, Shakeela and Jeremy are married with two beautiful children, Edolie and Ender and expecting a third child.
Jeremy said that he is still very much in love with his wife, and the family looks very happy together.
Tips on sustaining a biracial relationship
- Be genuinely interested in knowing each other's culture;
- Respect each other's background. Don't compare.
- Be amply prepared to face verbal attacks from stereotypes;
- Above all, be proud of your partner and your relationship.
