She's 225 Pounds Heavier Than Him, But Their Size Difference Can't Match How Big Their Love Is

A peculiar couple, Emma and Stuart Grundy, caught our attention with a contrasting difference between them. At first look, it's hard to believe they're together, but upon getting to know them, it's clear that they're soulmates.

Mixed weight, but a perfect match

When people see 350-pound Emma, they have a hard time putting her together with her 125-pound husband, but the two are madly in love.

Stuart says he was attracted to her loud and bubbly personality, and would never want her to be any different. He loves Emma just the way she is, and is grateful to have her and their 3 children in his life.

Emma realizes that people may give them funny looks, but she doesn't care, and believes difference in weight shouldn't be a problem in any relationship, as she told Caters News:

We both just feel so lucky and grateful to have met each other, and there’s no reason why any mixed-weight relationship wouldn’t work.

Does weight really not matter when it comes to love?

We are all led to believe that the rules of attraction require physical compatibility between partners. But what if it's not true, and Emma and Stuart are a living proof?

Dr. Fredric Neuman wrote on Psychology Today that women are afraid of being judged for their extra pounds or imperfect physique, but if a man already expressed interest, chances are, he's not going to be chased away when a woman reveals a bit of fat hidden under her clothes.

While physicality might play a role in casual relationships, marriage and commitment are built on emotional connection, which is why Emma and Stuart are so great together. Just look how happy they are!

Other happy mixed-weight couples

Emma and Stuart aren't the only ones defying couple expectations and bragging with their unconditional love. Take Drew and Jenna Kutcher for example: While their differences aren't that noticeable, Jenna still gets many shocked messages about how a curvy girl like her was able to get 'Mr. 6-pack himself'.

Someone once slid into my DMs and told me they couldn’t believe I had managed to land a guy as good looking as @kickingitwithkutch. I’ll be honest that I was taken aback. ✨ Part of my insecurity with my body has stemmed around being married to Mr. 6-Pack himself. Why should I, a curvy girl get him? I feel unworthy and when I write narratives in my head that because I am not thin, I don’t deserve him. 🙋🏼 This man has embraced every curve, every dimple, pound and pimple for the last ten years and has always me reminded me that I’m beautiful even when my inner dialogue doesn’t match. 🙌🏻 So yes, my thighs kiss, my arms are big, and my bum is bumpy but there is just more of me for him to love and I chose the man that could handle alllll that (and so much more!) ✨ I am so much more than my body, so is he, and so are you. Double tap if true love doesn’t see size. Photo by: @mrslindseyroman

If people have issues with these couple, then it's nothing more than they're personal inner insecurities. We should be happy for anyone who found the love of their life, and it looks like all these lovebirds did!
