British singer and founder of the band McFlyTom Fletcher, and his wife, Giovanna, welcomed their new baby boy on Friday, August 24. The father of three shared the exciting news on Saturday with his fans. He arrived at 3:06 p.m. and weighed in at 7 pounds, joining big brothers Buddy and Buzz.

One thing stood out about the birth of the new baby: his name. The couple called their bundle of joy Max Mario Fletcher, breaking away from their tradition of naming their children with the letter “B.” Mario is actually the name of Giovanna’s brother, who is also expecting a baby soon.

Little Mario actually showed up a little earlier than expected. His birth was scheduled for September, just around when big brother Buzz was going to school for the first time. It seems the new family member was not keen on missing the special occasion.

With another baby joining the family soon, Mario will have some fun company growing up, as his cousin will be almost the same age.

Fans are still gushing over a cute picture Tom shared on Twitter. His sons Buddy and Buzz got to meet their baby brother for the first time, and although the baby was out of sight, we can imagine he was getting his very first smooches from his big brothers.

Congratulations to the Fletchers! We look forward to seeing more delightful family photos.
