Princess Charlene of Monaco Complains About Her Toddlers By Saying They Are Too Energetic

Princess Charlene might be a royal, but she is just like any other mom out there. Recently, the 40-year-old admitted that she sometimes struggles with her two adorable kids.

Giving birth to twins

On May 30, 2014, Princess Charlene announced she is pregnant. In fall, the royal couple confirmed that they are expecting twins. After the happy news, the palace announced that each twin would have the right to a salvo of 21 cannon shots at birth, and the church bells will be ringing for fifteen minutes. In addition, the day was to be made into a holiday.

On December 10, 2014, Princess Gabriella was born, and two minutes later, she was joined by her brother, Prince Jacques. Prince Albert was with his beloved wife throughout the whole time. The twins were delivered via Caesarean.

Raising little royals

In a recent interview, in honor of their 7th wedding anniversary on July 1, the royal couple discussed how their life has changed when their kids became a part of it. Princess Charlene commented:

At age 3 1/2, they’re so full of life, to the point that they sometimes seem to me to have too much energy for their age.

The doting parents were happy to discover that the twins developed a true friendship.

Jacques is the love of Gabriella’s life. Neither Albert nor I can interfere in their relationship.

The royal added that her adorable kids are always making decisions together. How cute is that?
