Date June 26, 2018

The date of little Prince Louis’ chastening has been finally announced. The intimate family affair will happen on July 9.

We can be sure that his special day will be very similar to his siblings’ one. The little prince will be baptized at the same age as Prince George and Princess Charlotte were: 3 months old. It will be the young royal’s second public outing since he was introduced to the world on April 23.

Prince Louis' christening will be filled with many special touches and important details that will make the day truly unforgettable. Let’s take a look at the most important ones.

1. Little Prince will wear the same gown as Princess Charlotte and Prince George wore.

The christening gown is the replica of the lace dress that was made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter Victoria in 1841.

2. Justin Welby will christen The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby is the Royal Family’s go-to person for all events of that matter.

3. The Duchess of Sussex will be a part of Prince Louis’ special day.

There is no doubt Meghan Markle will be somehow featured in the christening. The new member of the royal family herself was baptized earlier this year in a private ceremony.

4. There will be no crowds.

Princess Charlotte’s christening, unlike her older brother’s one, took place at the more open setting, which allowed the royal fans to camp outside. But Princess Louis’s special day will be more private.

5. The proud mom might wear Alexander McQueen again.

The Duchess of Cambridge always shows off her impeccable style, which makes many excited to see what she will wear for her son’s christening.

7. Nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo will wear her Norland uniform.

The famous uniform got Maria dubbed as the real-life “Marry Poppins.”

8. All Kate and William’s kids will attend the christening.

Both of Prince Louis' siblings will be able to share the special day with him.

It seems that the event will be a family matter, but we hope we can get a glimpse of adorable Prince Louis in his christening gown.
