They say it’s hard to conceive a baby, especially if a woman is over 30. But does anyone think where does such data come from?
300-year-old fertility data
It comes as a huge disappointment when women learn that the data is from fertility statistics that is still in use today. It dates back to 300 years ago. According to it, women over 30 had lower chances of having a baby, but the reasons for that were quite different than nowadays.
On the contrary, modern data, and to be more specific, a paper by David Dunson published in 2004, says 82% of women aged between 35 and 39 fell pregnant within a year.
