Road accident took the lives of two girls
On May 2017, Natasha Boggs was arrested after she struck to death two 14-year-old girls and injured a 15-year-old boy.
The 24-year-old driver hit the kids when her car drifted off the road. The girls died immediately, while the boy was hospitalized with severe brain trauma.
Police said they have evidence Boggs was texting while she was driving, which became the cause of the fatal accident.
Boggs was sentenced to 6 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter of two girls, Taylor Galloway and Amber Thoma. In the court, the woman cried she felt so sorry for the girls’ death.
I never meant for anything to happen. I can’t forgive myself. I’m truly sorry.

Taylor’s mother, Angela Galloway, got very emotional as she spoke in the court:
Natasha robbed my daughter of the life she should have had. I will never see Taylor grow up. No prom or graduation, falling in love for the first time, or a family of her own.
The girls’ parents launched a fundraising campaign to cover memorial expenses.
Warning! To all drivers…
After the tragedy took the lives of two innocent girls, their families want to generate public awareness about the danger of texting while driving.
For the last few years, deadly collisions on a road have risen sharply. According to the National Safety Council, around 40,000 people died after being involved in road accidents over the previous year.
