Sweet Revenge: Fat-Shamed Teenager Came Up With The Genius Payback On The Spot

Fat-shaming is still a very frequent and terrible thing that happens to overweight people daily. While some silently accept the criticism and swallow their feelings, others find ways to stand up for themselves, and the following is an example of the latter.

What goes around, comes around

Indiana native Vega Blossom was getting some cupcakes ahead of Easter weekend for herself and her boyfriend. To her shock, she overheard two women behind her in line saying, "let's hope this fat b**** doesn't buy all the cupcakes".

Vega described the entire ordeal on her Facebook page. Once she heard those two women say such mean things about her, she felt like crying. Blossom grew up being constantly fat-shamed. She was always a bigger girl, so people's cruel comments weren't a novelty for the teenager.

This time, however, she was appalled by how loud and rude those women allowed themselves to be. So, instead of quickly leaving the cupcake shop, Blossom came up with the ultimate revenge and hit those women with the thing they feared the most.

Instead of buying 6 cupcakes like she initially planned, Vega spent $54 on all cupcakes at the bakery, so that those mean women don't get a single bite. Blossom admits that her actions were petty, but even the shop's staff supported her and gave Vega some free cookies and chocolate.

Response from the bakery

After Vega's story went viral, the shop where the situation happened reacted to the news and proclaimed their locations a 'bully-free zone'.

Designer Desserts-Valparaiso also reached out to Vega and even delivered free cupcakes to her work following the incident.

At the end of the day, Vega ended up in a sweet position, while those women went hope empty-handed. Let's be kind to each other and stop fat-shaming once and for all.
