Rich Houck and his wife, Jen, take it one day at a time. They are happy parents of four boys, and one of them, 21-year-old Jacob, has special needs.

When Jacob was only two weeks away from his fourth birthday, he received a life-changing diagnosis: Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, a very rare type of brain tumor, his dad said in an interview with CBS Philly. He told the channel:

But, 17 years after his diagnosis, Jacob is thriving. He and his family have lots of fun moments together, and one of such moments happened over the weekend at the Deptford Mall in Deptford, New Jersey, and melted hearts of sales clerks and shoppers.

The dad approached Nicole Prodin, an assistant manager at one of the stores, and asked her for an unusual favor. She wrote on Facebook:

He came into Buckle and said “Hey can I ask a favor? My son has special needs and I wanna make him laugh, I’d like to pose in your window, if possible, we just did it over at Hollister!”
