Why Was A 13-Year-Old Boy Jeffrey Li Promised A Puppy After He Sang At America's Got Talent?

When a 13-year-old boy appears on the stage of America's Got Talent, as a rule, the judges don’t expect anything out-of-the-ordinary. As a rule, they are polite, make some fun, and just listen. It was all the same with the 13-year-old Jeffrey Li until the boy started singing.

They had a small talk, and it appeared the Chinese-Canadian Jeffrey Li is fond of dogs. Simon Cowell, in his turn, has promised the boy if he would do well at the audition, he would buy him a puppy.

Now, it seems the boy will go home with a new dog because his performance was truly outstanding. He chose to sing “You Raise Me Up” and when asked why, the boy’s answer was shocking.
