Cops Spotted A Boy Running Around In Bloody, Dirty Socks And Did The Sweetest Thing To Help Him

This good deed has definitely warmed people’s hearts from all over the world. On Facebook, the Tukwila Police Department shared a beautiful story that didn’t leave anyone indifferent.

When an officer and a sergeant were patrolling at Cascade View Park in Everett, they spotted a local boy running around without shoes. He had torn-up, dirty socks on, and he was bleeding from deep cut on his foot.

The two men decided to help the child. The sergeant cleaned up his foot, patched it up, and asked him where his shoes were. As it turned out, the kid had no shoes at all, as the last pair were now too small for him to wear.

While the officer was keeping the boy a company, the sergeant bought a new pair of shoes for him. And this was not it! As the Facebook post states:

He came back with not only a pair of shoes, but also with a bunch of popsicles because what isn’t better than a cold popsicle on a hot summer day?!

It’s no surprise people flooded the comment section, blessing both police officers

It rarely makes news, but police officers often go above and beyond the call of duty. A few years ago, another touching story made headlines and was even taken to Ellen’s show. Check it out!

To all police officers, thank you for your big hearts and great service!
