Bride Loses Her Arm In A Crocodile Attack Five Days Before Her Wedding And Still Looks Amazing On The Big Day
Just days before her wedding, a bride loses her arm in a horrible crocodile attack. But despite the sad tragedy, the bride finds the inner strength to look gorgeous in her wedding dress on the big day.
Bride-to-be loses her arm after a crocodile attack
Zanele Ndlovu and her fiancé, Jamie Fox, were preparing for their wedding for many long months. The lovebirds dreamed that day would be the most special for two of them.
Five days before the wedding, Zanele and Jamie were canoeing in the Zambezi river. They were completely involved with each other and didn’t notice how the 8-foot-long crocodile came out from the water and attacked them.
Zanele recalls that horrible moment to the local newspaper Chronicle:
The canoe started deflating and it all happened so fast. The crocodile bit me again and pulled me into the water.
Jamie swam into the water trying to pull Zanele out of the river. He grabbed her waist and with his other hand, he tried to push away the crocodile.
Tour guides immediately came to the rescue, and the animal finally let go of Zanele. When the woman was pulled out of the water, she even didn’t complain of pain because of shock. Unfortunately, Zanele lost her right arm in the crocodile attack.
The couple’s wedding date was scheduled in five days. Zanele and Jamie decided not to cancel the event but to have the ceremony in the hospital’s chapel. And do you know what? The bride looked amazing in her wedding dress.
I didn’t know fate would have me wed in a hospital chapel, with one limb missing. But in all this, I’m not complaining. My wedding was the best, and I have a wonderful husband.
Jamie said this accident actually made them even closer to each other. He understood how much he loves his then-fiancée.
I love her even more and this incident actually made me feel the deep meaning in our vows.
Our congratulations to Zanele and Jamie! We wish them nothing but sunshine.
