It is highly recommended by the health experts to make 10,000 steps daily in order to stay fit and physically active for long years. There is a man who proved that walking can not only help to reduce weight, but also make you a healthier person. Dave Lancaster, the 45-years-old call center manager, lost more than 280 pounds after walking 6,000 miles.

Dave used to weigh 480 pounds and wore 8XL shirts in 2016, and was not keeping the healthy diet. He liked sausages, chips, and pies so much he couldn’t imagine his life without such kind of food. It was hard for him to walk, and Dave was running out of breath very quickly:

I found it difficult to walk to the end of my road, I went out so rarely except for work that I was close to becoming a recluse, and I was nearing almost complete immobility. It felt as though as I was getting bigger and bigger, my world was gradually shrinking.
