Broken heart syndrome is real

Anger can damage your heart and increase the risk of sudden cardiac arrest

A study by the American College of Cardiology found that angry outbursts can cause changes in the heart’s electrical activity, and lead to dangerous arrhythmias, putting you at risk of a sudden cardiac arrest.

Sudden cardiac arrest is estimated to be responsible for 400,000 deaths every year, and we can safely assume that some of these are preceded by angry outbursts.
