"That Makes My Heart Hurt": A Police Officer Broke Down In Tears During An Arrest After He Saw An Unbuckled 6-Year-Old In The Front Passenger Seat
October 23, 2018
Despite all PSAs, campaigns against drunk driving, and legal consequences DUI entails, the simple message – 'don’t drink and drive' – still can’t get through to many people.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, almost 29 people in the U.S. are killed in alcohol-impaired-driving crashes every day. In 2016, 10,497 people died in drunk-driving crashes. 1,233 of these people were children under 14 years old.
Well, if PSAs don't prevent drunk driving, maybe one news report can make people think long and hard.
