The Duchess flew back to NYC for a few days and had a baby shower on Wednesday last week. It was a very sweet gathering, CBS anchor Gayle King dished on This Morning.

We know Meghan’s baby is due in spring, but how much exactly do we have to wait until the baby is here? According to estimates by Parents.com, Meghan is about 34 weeks pregnant, meaning there are only about six more weeks of waiting.

All major organs are formed and functioning at this point, but the lungs still need a little more time to develop. Also, the central nervous system is quite advanced in week 34.

How’s the mom doing?

Week 34 is the time when many expecting moms see some nipple discharge. This liquid is not milk – it’s known as colostrum (sometimes called ‘pre-milk’). It’s rich in antibodies that help boost the immune system of breastfed babies.

Speaking about other symptoms, the following ones are common during week 34, according to Start4Life:

  • Braxton-Hicks contractions (also known as ‘false labor’);
  • tiredness and sleep problems;
  • stretch marks;
  • backache;
  • headaches;
  • indigestion and heartburn;
  • leg cramps and slight swelling.
