Brodi Willard noticed hives on her son’s arm after he came back home from school. Reportedly, the boy couldn’t stop scratching them, and the reaction was spreading. The mother tried changing his clothes and gave him a bath, but it didn’t help. The woman sought the help of his pediatrician, who wasn’t surprised. The doctor said that two kids with the same symptom had already arrived at the hospital earlier that day. The children had been tested positive for influenza type B.

Strangely enough, the test showed that Brodi had flu as well. The bewildered mother, who was aware of typical signs of flu, didn’t see it coming. The son didn’t experience ANY symptoms of flu, but somehow, he still had the disease. Brodi wants to share this information with as many parents as possible to prevent the possible complications.

Please keep watch on your children so if they develop hives, please call your pediatrician. I have never heard of this symptom but it is obviously something to be on the lookout for.
