Dealing with in-laws can sometimes be challenging. When two people choose to get married, they are sometimes faced with having some type of relationship with each other's family.

Some people are fortunate enough to have a great relationship with their in-laws but others may experience certain dramatic situations, even as early on as the wedding.
An annoyed bride
One bride @supermousee posted a picture of a white midi dress featuring some lace trimmings which she revealed that her sister-in-law planned to wear on the wedding day.
She wrote that the SIL in question refused to send her a photo of her outfit but she discovered it on her mother-in-law's phone.
My SIL is wearing this to my wedding... (almost Identical dress from internet. She wouldn't send me the pic. Saw it om my mil phone) from r/weddingshaming
People were quite upset about the bride's in-law's dress choice for the big day. @MrsECummings wrote:
Well isn't she a tacky woman?! Her decision is atrocious, time to fight back with it.
@boxoroxx was angry on the bride's behalf too:
KICK PEOPLE LIKE THIS OUT OF YOUR WEDDING. Seriously its rude. It makes me sad that people think this is acceptable.

Some commenters made hilarious suggestions of ways the bride could get back at her sister-in-law for this insensitive outfit choice. @bluesclueshues said:
I would not say a word about it---but at the wedding, go up to her and say "Oh my gosh, you must be so embarrassed to look like you're marrying your brother! Well, it's a beautiful dress anyway, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"

Buy it yourself and wear it to a prewedding event that SIL will be at. Like the rehearsal dinner.
Dealing with a difficult sister-in-law
It's no fun when the sister of the man you're in love with tries to make your life miserable. But sometimes, killing her with kindness can be the way to go.

When someone keeps trying to upset you, they become enraged if you don't react. So the most effective thing you can do is pretend they don't bother you and hopefully, things don't escalate.
What other suggestions do you have for the bride in this situation?
