"Youngest Trans Toddler" Of Britain, 8, Asked To Be Female Since 3, And Mother Shares The Hardship They Went Through

Amid the rapidly spreading contagion of child transgenderism, a U.K. mom now proudly claims that her child “became the youngest trans toddler … at just three years of age.”

At birthday parties and Christmas, when asked what he wanted, he’d often answer that he wished to be a girl.

Youngest trans toddler in Britain

Although the family felt the child was too young to make the decision, the boy didn't stop asking the same question again and again. When mom understood she has nothing to do but agree with her son, she sat in her car and cried her heart out. She didn't really know what trans meant.

Yet, the request was granted. His mother, Jeneen Schofield, 37, supported the early gender transition.

"And last year, at the age of seven, her wish came true when her name was officially changed by deed poll — to Luna."

Likewise, Luna "started wearing a skirt to school and got a new passport too as one of Britain’s youngest transgender children."

For weeks bofore the transition the mother was petrified Luna would have a loveless life full of people hating her, but she eventually changed her mind.

Schofield had taken Luna to a Mermaids’ stall at Liverpool Pride in 2016. Luna, now 8, began socially transitioning at the age of five–where the child would live as a girl.

Single mother, Schofield, also took Luna to meet with a family who had a transgender child who was a little older than Luna.

Now the boy is “socially transitioning” — a precursor to more radical treatments, often involving “puberty-blockers,” hormone treatments, and genital-mutilating surgeries.

Jeneen admits that the "grieving" process had its challenges - especially when she sees old photographs of Luna - however, therapy has proved to be an invaluable resource, as it helps her cope with the "horrific" comments she sees online.

"I know she will encounter comments as she grows up, hated for something she didn't choose, but I can either have a dead son or a happy, confident daughter."

Luna’s story comes as figures show the number of gender dysphoria children in Britain has doubled in the past year. Most concerns involve the ability of the child to make life-altering choices when their brains and endocrine systems are still underdeveloped.

Alarming trend is on the rise

NHS psychologists, in fact, said children are allowed to live as the opposite sex too soon. They say letting kids as young as six “socially transition” could do long-term harm by forcing them to choose too early.

Yet, some children might have a strong sense of their identity much earlier than the others. In this case, it can be reasonable to start the transition while the child is still young.

While the question remains to be controversial, it's quite clear that the problem of child's identity has to be investigated and, maybe, some help should be provided for parents whose children encounter the same situation as Luna. It is our responsibility to keep our children safe, happy and healthy!
