For parents, letting their kids grow up gender-fluid is important in helping kids identify their gender inclinations as they grow. This approach to parenting ensures that children are nurtured to be unique and happy.

People criticized a mom for letting her son wear dresses

For Danielle Carver Folkner, a mom who let her 3-year-old son wear dresses, the world can be a cruel place. To the mom-of-three, the fact that her son wears dresses and pink shoes make him a recipient of rude stares and comments.

When Jameson goes in public wearing a dress, she’s often accused of “making her son gay” by letting him wear girl’s clothing. Danielle, from Kingsport, Tennessee fired back at all her son’s attackers when she revealed that he has acted that way since he was young.

Jameson has two big sisters that are very girly and he likes to do whatever they do. He has worn many a princess dress and his favorite item of clothing was a girls nightgown.

When people critique Danielle for letting Jameson wear girl’s clothes, they are asking her to force him into wearing clothing he doesn’t like. As a brave mother, Danielle protects her son’s right to be creative in expressing himself and if dresses, pink skirts, and shoes catch his fancy, she will honor his wishes.

Last Halloween, Jameson decided to go trick-or-treating as Bo Peep from Toy Story and he loved the outfit. Of course, at other times, Jameson switches to monster trucks and cowboy boots since he loves wearing stuff that both boys and girls love.
