Human Ken Doll Debuts New Look As Barbie, Comes Out As Transgender: “I’m A Woman"

Rodrigo Alves, AKA the human ken doll, has never really been happy with his physical appearance. But all that is about to change.

Past procedures

Rodrigo Alves became well known to the world due to undergoing numerous procedures to alter his looks. He was referred to as the Human Ken Doll as these cosmetic surgeries were aimed at making him look as close to a doll-like perfection as possible.

In October 2019, Rodrigo admitted to having undergone 72 surgeries and confessed that things were getting quite dangerous. One of his concerns was his nose collapsing and the fact that surgeons were worried that if he had more surgeries, it could put his life at risk.

Long before this, though, people expressed their fears that these procedures would end up causing Rodrigo harm. And based on these revelations, he agreed but he mentioned that any further procedures would be a matter of necessity as he had trouble breathing.

Rodrigo debuts new photos as a 'she'

In a more recent update, this famous personality has now come out as transgender. In an interview with TheMirror, Rodrigo confessed that she looks forward to living her life as a woman.

She revealed to the publication that it has been a relief to announce to the world that she's now a female. She also stated that she believes her several cosmetic procedures were due to the fact that she couldn't accept who she was on the inside.

For years I tried to live my life as a man. I had a fake six-pack put in, I had fake muscles in my arms but I was lying to myself. I’m a woman and have always had a feminine brain. Now my body matches my mind.

Rodrigo, who now chooses to refer to herself as "Roddy," looks forward to completing her gender realignment surgery next year as she revealed she has been secretly living as a woman in the last 3 months.

She has also shared a few photos of her new female self as she goes from being Ken to Barbie:

I’m known as Ken but inside I’ve always felt like Barbie.

Roddy hopes this revelation will not cause people to bully or ridicule her as she's excited to move on with her new self.

In the years since the Celebrity Big Brother star has garnered fame for her procedures, people have wondered what she looked like previously.

According to the UK Sun, she had her first nose job at age 19 and has gone on to do other procedures like brow lift, hair implants, facelift, cheek implants, and so on. All of this was in a bid to be the perfect male specimen.

The result of these surgeries is that she now looks drastically different from how she used to.

Rodrigo 'Roddy' Alvers has gone through a lot of changes. Many of them have been her way of creating a version of herself that she can love and appreciate. And over time, she has experienced negative repercussions as a result. Hopefully, now that she's her true self as a woman, she can finally embrace herself. Sure, her transformation will invite mixed reactions but Roddy is simply working on being happier with who she is. Her fans will continue to root for her and applaud each milestone.
