Grandparents To The Rescue: This Parenting 'Hack' From Jessica Biel Could Reduce Depression, And It's Science Approved
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are proud hands-on parents of 3-year-old Silas. However, they are not above getting some necessary help when they need it.
Biel's loves gadget-aided parenting
Biel came clean about her key parenting hack when she spoke with ET recently. The exclusive interview took place at Au Fudge restaurant in West Hollywood. The actress was there to meet with leading pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp.
Karp is the creator of the SNOO Smart Sleeper baby bed. And Biel is a big fan of incorporating gadgets into her parenting.
Key parenting hack
It is not clear what the actress and the pediatrician were there to discuss, but she was willing to share her parenting hacks with her fans.
And Biel disclosed that with her hubby on Man of the Woods tour, she is not relying on gadgets alone.
She asks her mom to help.
Why grandparents are great
There is nothing better than falling back on the grandparents to babysit or watch the kids between busy schedules, especially if they are retirees with time on their hands. This is why it works.
Grandparents are great with giving the best treats, and they have more than enough love to spare, but there is some scientific benefit to having them around.
A 2014 study published in The Gerontologist specifically says children who grow up bonding with their grandparents are less likely to be depressed as adults.
Jessica Biel is definitely on to something!
