How to zoom with keyboard

You can greatly help you eyes while surfing on the web by zooming the pages in instead of squinting and straining them even more. For those who are using Windows operational system, simply press Ctrl, a key which is located at the left bottom of your keyboard. While holding Ctrl, press “+” or “-” to zoom in and zoom out respectively. There’s another simple way of doing the trick. Press and hold Ctrl. The next step is to simply roll the scroll wheel on your mouse. One direction is for zooming in, whereas the other is for zooming out.
Windows provides a wonderful tool for anyone who wants their screen to be zoomed in. This app is called Magnifier, and you can easily find it if follow the path:
- Click Start at the bottom left of your screen.
- Start typing “Magnifier” to find the app.
- Click on the search result.
- Experiment with the options and adjust the zooming of your screen.

Luckily, Apple users also can zoom the screen in and out. The way you do this on Mac laptops is nearly identical to the Windows version. Press and hold Command. Then, press “+” or “-” to zoom in and out. Remember, you have to open an application that supports this, like a browser, photos, or documents.
Another, more complicated way of zooming the screen requires a bit of patience. First, click the Apple icon (top-right corner) and choose “System Preferences…” The next step is to find and click the “Accessibility” icon. After click “Zoom” option, you will see the list of different combinations for zooming. To enable them, you should first check the box next to the line “Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom”. If you are still not satisfied, there are even more options for you. Just click the button “More Options…”
