Photo Frame With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Is Missing From The Queen's Reception

Date June 12, 2018

Last month when the Queen welcomed Honorable George Brandis, the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, during a private meeting at the palace, the press noticed something a bit different about a coffee table at the side of the room.

Besides vases, one frame showed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But this picture was not one of the three earlier released by the palace as part of the engagement photoshoot last year.

It seems like this particular picture is part of a private collection that never got to the public. Alexi Lubomirski is credited with taking all the engagement pictures, and even with limited time, he clearly got more shots than the three released.

Prince Harry was wearing a smart blue suit, while Meghan Markle was in a pale fitted dress and had her hair let down. And it was a pretty picture to say the least.

Oddly, just a week later, it seems the picture has disappeared from the same coffee table. These pictures were taken in the same reception room, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are nowhere in sight.

Some fans of the royal family noticed the missing photo and are still trying to figure out what happened in the one week to make the Queen change her mind.

If Her Majesty says a frame gets moved, it gets moved. All hail!

The Queen clearly likes to have pictures of people she holds dear on display in the palace. It is a high honor to have the Queen keep a picture of you in the palace.
