Legendary Kiss Me, Kate actress Patricia Morison died at the age of 103. The brilliant talent played various roles and was one of the most senior celebrities in American cinematography.
Never give up
For the stunning actress, who shared the stage with such notable people as Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, not everything went so smooth from the very beginning. At the age of 18, Patricia was cast for the Broadway comedy Growing Pains.
The director wasn’t satisfied with her play, so Morison got fired right from the rehearsal. Patricia didn’t give up and received at least a walk-on role in the same spectacle. Her consecutive participations were more successful, and she never ceased trying even if temporary challenges wanted to stop her.
Publicist Harlan Boll announced Patricia died in Los Angeles due to the natural reasons on May 20. The world can also remember the exuberant actress by her villainess roles, particularly as Mrs. Hilda Courtney in Dressed to Kill.
However, the most reminiscent piece of play for Morison was, of course, her centered musical-within-a-musical production of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Kiss Me, Kate was on the stage for two and a half years and was performed 1,077 times on Broadway.
Apart from these wonderful masterpieces with Patricia, she also was a part of the following films: Night in New Orleans (1942), Lady on a Train (1945), Queen of the Amazons (1947), and Song Without End (1960).
Even though the actress was in a senior age, the fans can’t perceive the world lost such a genius talent. Hundreds of tributes have been paid on the social networks to a magnificent woman since that fatal Sunday.
