It seems that everyone has been following royals. It's their charisma that makes us spell-bonded. Well, Kate Middleton was not so royal before marriage. So, people tend to criticize her.
Paul Burrell who served as a butler to Diana for 10 years, is interestingly against Duchess Kate.
Not only a butler but also a friend
At age 18, after a family vacation in London, Paul decided to serve the royal palace. He started his life in the royal household as a Buckingham Palace footman. After a year, he became the Queen's personal footman.
In 1987, Burrell joined Diana at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire and served until her death.
He described in his book that Princess of Wales was like a companion to him, saying:
I'm the only man she ever trusted in Palace and I was her rock.
Reportedly, Diana was fond of him and considered him a friend. But, Frances Shand Kydd, says Paul is just trying to latch on Diana's fame.
Kate Middleton - not a good enough royal
The former butler has explosively stated that he doubts Duchess of Cambridge's capability. She will never live up to her mother-in-law's legacy. Described that Kate has no magical presence or any x-factor.
He openly told 9-News Australia:
I met Mother Teresa, she had it. Pope John Paul II had it. The Queen has it. Diana certainly had it. Kate doesn't.
While her charm may be less but just different than Diana's, she surely is trying to keep up. Mr. Burrell's statement has stirred up rage among some social media users.
Quite a nasty little man, it seems. These comments seen unnecessarily nasty, given Kate seems generally well-liked, & a nice lady. #troll— Evelyn Veitch (@evelyn_veitch) August 8, 2017

His harsh remarks about Kate were not encouraged
TV host, Karl Stefanovic didn't like this judgment on Kate and unleashed at Paul. She certainly did the best she can and we all can feel her aura. He insisted to leave the lady alone and went on to ask Paul in his morning show:
How often do you stand beside Kate?
He certainly hasn't! Burrell finally felt embarrassed at his remarks and apologized, he continued to describe Middleton as a beautiful lady who should be the Queen of England one day.
