Some good old British humor

A giant blimp will fly over the city of London for two whole hours when the American President meets the Queen and Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump's intended visit has been the source of protests across Britain. And the blimp depicts him as a baby in diapers holding a cellphone in his tiny hands and comes up to 20 feets high.

The mayor gives his blessings

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, clearly in on the joke has given the go ahead to British environmentalist Leo Murray who created the inflatable.

Murray says the mayor's go ahead is a sign that London has not lost its sense of humor. He was quick to point out, though, that the blimp was not a direct affront on Americans but a way to call out what Trump was doing to the country.

Strong reactions on both sides

It goes without saying that people are having pretty strong reactions to the Mayor's decision. UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader, Nigel Farage, has called it "biggest insult to a sitting US President ever."

But for most Britons, including the writer Jeanette Winterson, the blimp joke and its effect on Trump lovers is good news. What do you think?
