Despite having been excluded from the royal family more than two decades Sarah Ferguson is still very respectful when it comes to her former in-laws. The Duchess has proved time and time that she hasn't forgotten how to curtsy.

Finest Icon

Though Sarah and the Queen's son are divorced, the Duchess still has love and respect for her former mother-in-law. In an interview Sarah spoke about her closeness to the Queen saying:

Her Majesty is the finest icon I’ve ever been lucky enough to share a room with. She’s the most exceptional Head of State, lady and mentor. I am very fortunate to know her.

Trademark curtsey

Sarah Ferguson, one of the most odious representatives of the royal family, was invited to the Royal Ascot. The former wife of Prince Andrew must have been very excited because it’s not all high profile events like this she gets to be a part of.

The Duchess couldn’t contain her excitement as she waved enthusiastically before she performed a perfect curtsey for the Queen while the monarch’s carriage rode past the Royal Enclosure at Ascot.

This would be the fifth time in a row that Sarah has been invited to Royal Ascot. The redhead beauty attended the event wearing a yellow dress and a green fascinator with peacock feathers alongside her ex-husband Prince Andrew.

The Royal Ascot has become a place every person interested in watching exciting horse races is obliged to visit. The Queen couldn’t miss such an event, and during the 4th day, she appeared in a raspberry pink outfit. It was hard not to notice her, but the color definitely suited Her Majesty.

Sarah's signature style

Sarah Ferguson has become well known among fans for her enthusiastic curtsy at royal events. Back in 2018, she joined her ex-husband and daughter Princess Beatrice for the Royal Ascot.

She held on to her daughter's hand as she showed off her signature low curtsey while her former mother-in-law’s carriage rode past.

Wonderful! The Duchess of York showed that she hasn't forgotten royal protocol.
