Tim proposed to Don on his birthday, and Don announced the exciting news this weekend, writing on Instagram:

Don and Tim are not in a rush

The thing is, they haven’t yet started making specific plans, Don admits. He told People:

Don and Tim haven’t announced the wedding date (the will when time comes!) and the plan is to enjoy the preparations in a leisurely manner. Don said:

Speaking to Page Six, the CNN anchor talked about the overwhelming emotions he felt when Tim asked him to be his husband. Don was so touched he couldn’t hold back tears!
