Royal Expert Claims Meghan And Harry's Son Archie Will Get A Princely Title, But Not From The Queen

On Wednesday, royal watchers all over the world got to see the Duke and Duchess’ of Sussex baby son for the first time ever. We also learned his name – Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
But what about Archie’s official title?
Meghan and Harry’s newborn son doesn’t have a title yet. However, what we know now is that Archie’s parents have already thought about it.
Royal expert Rob Jobson spoke on Sunrise and explained that Archie will eventually become ‘Prince Archie’, but he won’t get the title from the Queen.
Jobson mentioned that the Queen was consulted about Archie’s name – the Sussexes wouldn’t have chosen it without her approval! Speaking about a title for the boy, the expert said the Queen would need to go out of her way to make her new great-grandson a prince:
Everyone is going on about the fact that he is just going to be ‘Master Archie’ – I think that is just for now.
The Queen is 93-years-old, and they didn’t want to make a big fuss for the rules to be changed.
There is a thing called the George V Convention, which was to stop so many ‘prince’ names.

Jobson added that Meghan and Harry approve of Archie’s becoming a prince, but he would have to wait until Prince Charles becomes king:
When Prince Charles becomes king, I have been told they are very happy for him to become ‘Prince Archie’, that is with their blessing. It’s not a speculative thing, that’s exactly what they will do.
He will become Prince Archie when his granddad becomes king.
Regardless of Archie’s title, his parents’ intention is to make his childhood as normal as possible. Tessy Ojo, who oversees the Diana Award Charity, told CBS News that Meghan and Harry don’t want Archie to grow up “in the royal bubble.”
That means the couple will likely take a page out of William and Kate’s book, as that's how the Cambridges are raising their three children.
