Melania Trump's Spox Fires Back At A Reporter That Slammed FLOTUS For Not Understanding Her Role

Is Melania Trump a kind and compassionate First Lady who genuinely cares about the many issues American youth face, or is she full of herself and out of touch with reality? For CNN contributor Kate Andersen Brower, the latter is true.
Brower slams the First Lady
In her latest opinion piece entitled Melania Shows She's A Trump Through And Through, Brower wrote that Melania “doesn't understand what it means to be first lady.”
Melania uses her rare interviews as an opportunity to pat herself on the back and lament media criticism of her and her husband, Brower argues. The columnist suggests the First Lady could use more face time to talk about the real issues that plague the country. Brower also mentions a drop in Melania’s favorability ratings.
The First Lady’s spox hits back
The First Lady’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, has had to defend Melania from “unfair attacks” on more than one occasion. Again, she chose not to stay silent.
@flotus will continue to demonstrate her commitment to helping kids & advancing the causes she cares about. But there is nothing wrong with staying true to herself along the way. In fact, her strength, individuality & integrity should be celebrated. https://t.co/PiLDcMxfv7— Stephanie Grisham (@StephGrisham45) December 16, 2018
Grisham wrote her own opinion piece defending the First Lady. The media constantly downplays Melania’s real achievements and focus solely on the comments she makes about herself and her family, the spokeswoman argues.
Grisham goes on to enumerate Melania’s initiatives that are really making a difference and concludes:
Melania Trump is proud to be the first lady of the United States and is proud to represent the American people.
How people reacted
Twitter users reacted to Grisham’s response and many of them didn’t hold back. Here are some of the replies:
SHE IS MARRIED TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST BULLIES AROUND! Doesn’t your client’s credibility and her “message” suffer irreparably from that? Doesn’t yours, for defending this?— lissafaith (@melgee1959) December 16, 2018
I USED to feel very sorry for her but, not anymore.
Integrity? PLEASE! 😳 If Flotus wants to be a role model for her #BeBest campaign, start by apologizing to the Obamas for her birther claims. And perhaps not hiding her head in the sand while 45 lies to her and the American people everyday.— Sandy Welfare (@stdwelfare) December 17, 2018
She's so true to herself that she plagiarized Michelle's speech?— STAR☆FoRcE☆ (@StarlettMunk) December 16, 2018
She’s a facilitator by not standing up against her husband!— Doug Goldrick (@BigDougInDallas) December 16, 2018
Who do you think is right?
