Despite speculations about a rift between Charles and Camilla, royal commentators say they are happy and in love with each other.

However, Prince William has been luckier than his father when it comes to love life! William met Kate, the love of his life, while studying at the University of St. Andrews, and the two married for love and not because of obligation.

Why William and Kate are perfect for each other

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter spoke on 9Honey’s The Windsors podcast and explained why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are a perfect couple and that they were meant to be with each other.

Victoria said it’s because of their shared interests (they met in their formative years, after all):

They would cook at home. They would just do relaxed things at home. They are interested in the same things in the way I suppose Charles and Camilla on paper seemed a perfect match.

The expert added:

William and Kate are a perfect match. They love the same things, they love sports, they are both very competitive, they play tennis – they just work. And they have worked since the beginning.

Kate and William don’t engage in PDAs as often as Harry and Meghan do, but it doesn’t mean there’s no sparkle between them! In public, they act reservedly, but they have plenty of fun and tender moments when they are away from the cameras, an expert says.

Behavioral psychologist Jo Hemmings said on the Royal Box about the couple:

It’s a very respectful relationship. There’s a lot of fun in it, but we don’t always see the fun.

The expert added that the way they look at each other gives them away – those looks are full of love! She went on:

Often Kate is teasing him, he takes it on the chin. She’s adapted to that regal pre-Queen role already. They’re not particularly tactile, but there’s that look. They just seem genuinely happy together.
