Donald Trump Will Visit G7 Summit Alone: Melania's Spokesperson Announced Mrs. Trump Stays At Home

Date June 5, 2018

Melania Trump will not accompany her husband Donald during the Singapore G7 Summit on June 12. The First Lady’s communications director stated she would not be able to join the president during the trip.

Public absence

Almost a month ago, on May 14, Melania’s representatives announced she underwent kidney surgery. Even though it ended successfully, Mrs. Trump stayed in the hospital until the end of the week.

Usually, doctors recommend a three-day rehabilitation after such surgery; however, two weeks after the operation, Melania still made no public appearances. Stephanie Grisham, the First Lady’s spokesperson, explained Mrs. Trump was busy preparing for national holidays as well as spending time conducting internal meetings.

People supposed to see Melania later, during the G7 Summit; however, Stephanie made another announcement that disappointed Mrs. Trump’s fans.

No Melania on G7

On June 3, Grisham stated about Melania’s absence during the summit and subsequent Donald’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un:

Melania Trump would not join the president for either event.

She is alright

Despite all the speculations, Melania’s fans can sleep peacefully. The First Lady confirmed she is doing pretty well and spends time together with her family.

We will continue tracking Mrs. Trump’s activity and looking forward to hearing from her in the nearest future. We miss Melania and worry about her, especially considering the recent loud surgery. Hopefully, her public absence and statements about staying apart her husband during the official visits are not the storm prophet.
