Our inspiring Meghan Markle guest-edited Vogue's September issue which is going to hit the market on August 2. The Duchess of Sussex did not grace the cover and chose her top empowering females instead.
When you glance at Vogue's cover, you can see fifteen spaces filled with Meghan Markle's inspirational women's photos, including PM of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, and others. However, there is a sixteen box with empty space.
People were wondering what could it possibly mean, and believe us, the answer is really touching, inspiring, and emotional. Meghan Markle left this space for one reason which she explained on Instagram:
The sixteenth space on the cover, a mirror, was included so that when you hold the issue in your hands, you see yourself as part of this collective.
There’s a sixteenth spot on cover, which hits newsstands on August 2, featuring a mirrored panel to represent one more individual — you. A Palace spokesperson says that Meghan wanted to “include the reader and encourage them to use their own platforms to effect change.” pic.twitter.com/OLrLgnxtEe— Omid Scobie (@scobie) July 28, 2019
The mother-of-one wanted to include not only her idols for numerous reasons but also to empower each of us to feel how strong, influential, and important we are.
Duchess Meghan is known for her creativeness and wonderful way of thinking, so it is not really surprising she has left such a special detail for everyone.
