George Clooney has established himself as a real friend, protecting Meghan Markle from the very beginning.

Annoying speculations, constant judgments, and dull rumors have been around the Duchess of Sussex over the months. That's why Clooney keeps defending his good friend and thinks people should be "a little kinder" toward Meghan as a new mom. Well, hopefully, people will be!

Clooney is so Clooney

First, the world's highest-paid actor says the royal baby Archie "stole his thunder," as he was born on the same day as George. Clooney cracked a joke that baby Sussex stole his day, as it was his 58th birthday on May 6th.

Now, George Clooney is 'offended' at Meghan and Harry, since they didn't name their newborn after him. When the actor was asked how he felt about the Sussex couple not including the name George in their baby's moniker, George answered:

That kind of hurts [laughing]. I like it! Archie. It's good!

Well, it would be kind of strange to have two princes George in the British royal family, anyway. Right?

It was speculated that George and Amal Clooney may become godparents to Meghan and Harry's newborn son. However, The Descendants star revealed it's unlikely to happen.

That would be a bad idea. I’m a father of twins, and I can barely do that!

It doesn't matter whether or not George and Amal will be godparents, though. They will always be beside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in the toughest moments of their lives.
