Just last year, the witty actress had bid adieus to NCIS on CBS after 15 seasons and 288 episodes. She was portraying the role of a young and gothic forensic scientist named Abigail ‘Abby’ Sciuto. In the last episode that she appeared in, revolved around the plot of her leaving the team. She clearly seemed to mean her words as Pauley stated:
It's not goodbye for good. It's goodbye for now.
Welcome back, you little rebel!
Recently, Perrette has lined herself up for the next role and it would mark her exclusive return to CBS. After departing the long-running procedural, she needed a fresh start and has certainly got it. According to The Wrap magazine, Perrette will be working opposite Jane the Virgin star Jaime Camil in the latest comedy pilot Broke.
The show is written by Alex Herschlag and executive produced by Jennie Snyder Urman. The plot will be centered on a ridiculously wealthy trust fund child (played by Camil) who is cut off by his father, He then moves in with his wife into her estranged sister Reseda's (played by Pauley) condo. The fun will begin when his wife would force the two siblings to reconnect. Sounds interesting, eh?
