A stroke is a ninja-disease, it can sneak in despite having a healthy lifestyle. Even if one survives it, the aftermath could be serious brain damage. Unfortunately, Luke Perry never got a chance to recover from any of that.
Just last week, the Riverdale star was rushed to hospital following a massive stroke. Perry was at his home in Sherman Oaks at that time, and paramedics were called to attend to him. His neighbors claimed he seemed 'healthy' and was seen walking his dog. The actor remained under observation until the sad news was disclosed.
Demise at 52
After five days of hospitalization, Luke Perry gave up. DailyMail UK reports have confirmed his expiry on Monday, February 4. He was 52 years old. The actor is survived by his two adult children; a son named Jack, 21, and a daughter named Sophie, 18, from his former marriage to Rachel Minnie Sharp.

His publicist has revealed that he was surrounded by worried family until he took his last breath. His kids and fiance, Wendy Madison Bauer, stayed by his side all along. Moreover, Perry's ex-wife, Minnie Sharp, mother, Ann, step-father, Steve, brother, Tom, sister, Amy Coder, and other close family and friends were also on their toes. It's a relief to think all he had was love and care in those moments.
Fans and friends paid tribute to him
Luke's co-stars and whoever came across him in life remembered him in good words. The commentators on Twitter also paid their respects to him. He was described as the kindest, warmest, and most loving human being.
