Royal Expert Explains Why Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Have Changed Three Nannies Within 6 Weeks

Date July 2, 2019

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly hired the third nanny in six weeks for baby Archie. Harper’s Bazaar additionally stated that a new “British-born female nanny” had been hired for the littlest royal.

While some people raised eyebrows due to the couple's pickiness, The Sun reported they are just looking for the most outstanding candidate for their son.

The real reason

Although Meghan Markle was once dubbed "a difficult Duchess," there's a specific reason for changing so many nannies within two months.

Royal expert Russell Myers stated that "this is all par the course when hiring help for a royal baby."

They have gone through about three nannies in six weeks. This is part of the work of their agency who are trialling staff, finding the right person. They had a night nanny for a bit.

However, Myers also said Meghan and Harry will need to find another carer for the South African tour this fall.

It's understandable why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are hesitant about the nanny — the couple wants to bring Archie up on their own; however, with their full-time jobs, it's hard to dedicate all time to the baby.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still new at the parenthood and hence, looking for the best person who can be trusted and relied on.

It seems like Kate Middleton and Prince William were much luckier with the choice of royal nanny — the couple has been having the one, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, for three children for many years.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have a super cool carer and she's admittedly coping with her multitasking and complicated role with flying colors.
