Wendy William's New Diagnosis: The TV Host Has Been Diagnosed With Lymphoedema

Date July 10, 2019

Wendy Williams has been having some issues with her health — the reality star was diagnosed with Grave's disease which affects thyroid and hence, had to take an "extended break" from The Wendy Williams Show "to focus on her personal and physical well-being."

Everything was pretty normal when Wendy Williams surprisingly returned to her work after a month or so, showcasing new hairstyle and looking in high spirits.

However, a while ago, the mother-of-one faced horrifying trauma — her husband of two decades, Kevin Hunter, was accused of allegedly fathering his long-term mistress. Williams instantly filed for a divorce and cut him off from her now-single life.

However, her health is a bit deteriorating now, too. When Wendy was asked about her "swollen ankles" on one of the shows, she revealed she has been diagnosed with lymphoedema.

Lymphoedema, by the way, I’ve been diagnosed. It’s not going to kill me, but I do have a machine — and how dare you talk about the swelling of it all.

She quickly reassured her fans that everything is going alright with her and the machine helps her reduce swelling.

Lymphoedema is a chronic condition that causes swelling, usually in the arms or legs, when someone’s lymphatic system is compromised. Get well soon, Wendy!
