According to the official statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, motor vehicle crashes are considered to be the leading cause of death in the United States. As reported, more than 100 people die every day due to this reason.

Alcohol is one of the main problems as well, as around 29 people are killed in car crashes every day due to alcohol-impaired drivers. What horrible statistics!

Sophia Delott’s death

It was recently reported that the 17-year-old football player, Sophia Delott, was fatally struck by the drunk driver in Florida.

The head football coach, Chris Miller, confirmed her death, saying she was like a part of his family. By the way, she was the only female player on the high school’s football team.

Sophie was a Warhawk through and through. She was a Marine. Most of all, she was our family.

According to the police statement, it happened when Sophia was riding a bike in a designated lane. They have already identified the driver, Neil Singhal, and are currently investigating the case.
