Even though her time in the White House is over, Michelle Obama is still very much in the news. However, this time it’s for promoting her memoir titled Becoming.
Former first lady Michelle Obama was greeted with a standing ovation and screams from a 15,000-strong audience of mostly women at the O2 Arena in London. This warm welcome is certainly an audience fit for the most famous musician.
She was welcomed on stage on Sunday during the latest stop on her international book tour for her memoir.
Michelle’s memoir tells the story of her journey from growing up in a working-class family in Chicago to living in the White House.
What did Michelle Obama wear?
The 55-year-old looked super chic in a gold-fringe, black top as she spoke with moderator, US Television host Stephen Colbert.
While promoting her memoir in London, Michelle chose to wear black embellished jumpsuit which is a custom Stella McCartney piece. The outfit featured a tasteful off shoulder design and shiny ombré beading that blended silver, gold, and gunmetal trimmings.
She completed her look with gold Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings and black patent Jimmy Choo pumps.
