But the couple stayed true to the secretive path they chose and only recently they revealed that baby Archie will be christened this Saturday, July 6.

Royal fans have been waiting in anticipation for new juicy details about the exciting event and they are finally here!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared new details about their firstborn christening, which will take place at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Unfortunately, it means we won’t see any snaps of the royal family arriving at the service, which is a major difference from the christening of Kate and William’s children.

Speaking of godparents, Meghan and Harry decided to keep their names in secret. Royal correspondent Rebecca English thinks it’s not a good idea as it will create “even more hysteria” around the christening.
