The cause of Barr’s leaving the show was her offensive tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor, Valerie Jarrett. ABC made an unexpected decision to cancel the show despite its huge success after reboot.

Though Mrs. Barr deleted her tweet soon afterward and apologized to Mrs. Jarrett and all her fans, it still couldn’t change the studio’s decision to cancel the popular sitcom.

Who is to blame?

One year passed since that time, but it appears Barr still feels hurt about her firing. Now, the actress has a particular person to blame for this. In her  own words, it’s the former First Lady Michelle Obama.

In an interview with TheSun, Roseanne explained her vision of the matter:

This tweet is unforgivable. That's what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix.

By the way, earlier Roseanne had another explanation for her firing from the series. The star said the show producers fired her because she voted for Donald Trump.

Barr said her ‘mistake’ cost her “the work of her life.”

As for the series, ABC replaced Roseanne with its spinoff The Conners. All the cast members (except for Mrs. Barr, of course) moved to the new show.
