Fay McKenzie, who stole fans’ heart as the Western star of the Hollywood Golden Era, sadly passed away aged 101.

The Hollywood community mourns the demise of one of its greatest representatives. A talented actress and just a beautiful woman, incredible Fay McKenzie, died on April 16. She was 101.

Fay passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home in Los Angeles. Her television career spanned decades.

Fay is best-known for her appearance in the western movies in the 40s alongside a Hollywood heartthrob, Gene Autry.

The actress had leading roles in such famous movies as Down Mexico Way and Heart of the Rio Grande. She also appeared in the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany's in 1961.

Fay McKenzie was married twice. With her second husband, the couple had two children. Their elder son Tom Waldman Jr. is an actor too, while their daughter Madora is a writer.
