Royal Teaming: Kate Middleton And Her Majesty Turn Heads With The Stylish Matching Bags At King’s College

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Duchess Catherine stepped out for their first solo engagement in 7 years, flaunting in completely diverse styles with one matching detail.

Kate teams out with the Queen for a solo outing

On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth was accompanied by Kate Middleton for a visit to King’s College in London. Her Majesty and the Duchess officially reopened the Bush House after renovation. By the way, it was their first solo engagement together since 2012.

Kate and the Queen both looked gorgeous as they channeled completely opposite styles. Her Majesty, well-known as a huge fan of bright colors, dazzled in an eye-catching pink coat by Stewart Parvin and a matching hat with flowers.

Kate, on the contrary, is known for her love for dark and grey colors. For the visit to Bush House, the Duchess wore a trendy grey dress coat by Catherine Walker. She teamed her gown with a black hat and matching heels by Gianvito Rossi.

Different, yet still matching

Despite their completely different outfits, royal watchers noticed one tiny detail the Queen and Kate had in common. Both Her Majesty and the Duchess had matching little black bags.
